Why book this plan

Horse, guide, food and water — one price

Your mount, the guide, the burroteca stop, the viewpoint, water and a full meal are already in the price — nothing else to add up before you go, other than getting to the meeting point.

You choose how long you ride

Same trail, same stops — a 1-hour ride on the Short plan, or 3 hours in the saddle on the Full plan.

A real viewpoint over the valley

The ride climbs to a lookout point with the whole Aburrá Valley below — the same view in the photo above, not a stock skyline.

About this ride

This is a countryside horseback ride, not a stable loop: a guide takes you and your horse or mule along an ecological trail through the hills that ring the Aburrá Valley, the same "arriero" landscape that has moved goods and people through rural Antioquia for generations.

Both plans cover the same trail and the same stops — the burroteca, the viewpoint, water along the way and a full meal at the end, your choice of fiambre, asado, chicken sancocho or bandeja paisa — the only difference is how long you spend in the saddle: 1 hour on the Short plan, 3 on the Full one.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between the Short and Full plans?
The length of the ride along the same ecological trail — 1 hour on the Short plan, 3 hours on the Full plan. Everything else (horse or mule, the "burroteca" stop, guide, viewpoint, water and the included meal) is the same on both.
Is transport to the meeting point included?
No — both prices are per person and don't include transport. Write to us on WhatsApp and we'll confirm how to get there for your date.
What's included in the meal?
One included meal, your choice of fiambre, asado, chicken sancocho or bandeja paisa, plus water during the ride.
Do I need previous riding experience?
The poster we worked from doesn't specify an experience level — tell us about yours (or your group's) on WhatsApp and we'll confirm whether the trail is a good fit before you book.
What is the "burroteca"?
It's one of the stops included in both plans, with donkeys — the poster doesn't detail exactly what happens there, so ask us on WhatsApp for the specifics before you book.
