Editorial policy
No payment decides what I publish or what rating a place receives. Here's what does.
My priority is that a fact is correct for the reader, not favourable to whoever paid for it. A business can pay me for a featured listing in the directory, but that never buys a different price than the real one, a greener freshness badge than it has earned, or the removal of a well-founded negative review.
What separates content from advertising
Every paid placement is labelled as such, visibly, before the first click. I decide editorial articles based on what serves the reader — not on who wants to appear this week.
Corrections
If a business, a reader, or I myself catch an error, I fix it and log it in the article or listing's public history — never edited quietly.
Sources
I prefer direct, on-the-ground verification. When I cite an external source (an official body, a news outlet), I link to it.
