What the commission doesn't buy
It doesn't buy placement in a listing, it doesn't buy a more favourable safety note, and it doesn't buy our silence on a real problem. We verify a place because we think it's worth recommending — the commercial arrangement, if any, comes after that, never before.
How to spot them
Every affiliate link ships with a visible note next to the first link in the article, before you click — never hidden in the footer or in fine print.
