About me

I started out filming Medellín on TikTok because it was exhausting watching people show up with the wrong idea of the city —or no idea at all— and make the same mistakes I'd already seen ten other people make. From there I moved to Instagram and Facebook, and from there people started messaging me directly to plan their trip: tours, where to stay, which neighbourhood suits them, who to talk to.

This site is that, organised. I'm not an agency or an anonymous editorial team: I'm one person who walks the neighbourhoods I write about and goes back to re-verify what I already published —that's what the green, amber or red seal on every page actually means—. I don't operate the tours and places to stay I recommend myself: I coordinate them with partner agencies and hosts I trust, and I earn a commission for connecting you with them. That never changes the price you pay, and I spell it out plainly in the affiliate disclosure.

How I sustain this

Discreet advertising, my own digital guide, and those commissions from businesses I recommend because I verified them first —never the other way around. My editorial policy spells out exactly where that line sits.

Who this is for
